Circuit Mapper Detail
The Circuit Mapper system shown connected in a commercial panel

The Circuit Mapper Receiver identifies circuits at receptacles, switches, and fixtures. A small pin comes into contact with the outlet or wall plate and the unit reads the number of the circuit that corresponds with the lead attached to the transmitter at the panel. Once all the leads are conncected, the only action necessary is to move from outlet to outlet, thereby giving a complete picture of the branch circuitry. A map pad is provided for a simple circuit diagram and record-keeping.
